- An opportunity to connect with participants from all over the world and get personalised feedback from expert instructors
- Training for the GenderPro Credential – the first-ever internationally recognised professional accreditation for gender and development practitioners
Programme Overview
GenderPro includes eight 90-minute live sessions coupled with independent online learning, and an applied practicum focused on a work deliverable. Two 15-week cohorts are administered per year. Cohorts consist of several sections (each with no more than 15 students), led by an expert instructor.
Your instructor will help you troubleshoot challenges, review your work and offer personalised feedback – so you can apply each lesson directly to your work and your context.
Our fully online learning environment means you’ll get to connect with participants from all over the world: expanding your professional network and your perspective. It also offers flexibility. You can select the session that works best for your time zone, your career, and your life.
The total cost of the course is $2,500. Payment will be due after acceptance to the course, but before the course begins.

" One of the things that I learned from the GenderPro course is that there are different levels of working on gender – gender blind, neutral, sensitive, responsive and transformative. I believe that we are mostly working on gender sensitive programs and that my colleagues are gender sensitive but I think that we have to go beyond. We have to start transforming. We have to start working together. We have to start using the same language. We have to start involving men and women in order to achieve change and equality."
